Does ReciteMail connect to our mailboxes?
No, never. There is no OAuth grant, no sign-in to Outlook or Gmail and no standing permission to review. Each person brings in one message at a time by pasting it or snipping it from the screen. The mailbox itself is never visible to the tool, which means there is no new access arrangement for your own function to assess.
Where does the content of an email go when we draft a reply?
Imported messages live in an encrypted database on the individual machine. When a draft is requested, only that single message plus the instruction travels over a secure connection for drafting. It is not stored on our servers and it is never used for training. Nothing accumulates in a chat history anywhere. Is ReciteMail certified under SOC 2 or ISO 27001?
No. We will not imply otherwise. ReciteMail does not hold SOC 2, ISO 27001 or HIPAA certification. What it offers is an architecture in which your correspondence never reaches our servers at all, which removes much of what those audits exist to check. If your framework requires certified vendors, we would rather tell you plainly now than after a call.
How does the banned words list work?
You maintain a list per audience of words and phrases that must not appear. Drafts are written under that constraint and checked against it afterwards. It is a guardrail applied every time rather than a style suggestion, which matters most on the days when people are tired and the fifth careful email of the afternoon is the one that slips.
